Spirit is filled into a combination of fresh bourbon barrels from Buffalo Trace distillery, Kentucky, USA and fresh Oloroso sherry butts direct from Spain. This is the second release from Kilchoman and has been aged for 3 years in fresh bourbon barrels and finished for 3 months in very active Oloroso sherry butts. One 3 years old refill bourbon barrel has been added to the vatting.
