    Springbank (Longrow)

Longrow is not actually a standalone distillery but a heavily peated variant of single malt whisky produced by the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. Established in 1973 as an experimental peated malt, Longrow was named after a now-defunct distillery that once stood adjacent to Springbank. It is double-distilled and peated to between 50 and 55 ppm, offering a robust, smoky flavor profile distinct from the lighter Springbank or unpeated Hazelburn whiskies made at the same distillery. Longrow's core expressions include the Longrow Peated, Longrow Red - which varies annually with different red wine cask finishes, and aged expressions like the Longrow 18 and 21 Year Old. This whisky embodies the traditional, hands-on approach of Springbank, with all aspects of production, from malting to bottling, done on-site.
